Organization tiers control credential quantity limits and pricing. Every organization starts on the Trial tier.

External credentials (received from other organizations via ingestion) do not count against your tier limits. Only credentials you issue count.
Trial Tier
The trial tier is free and designed for evaluation:
- Enough credentials to test the full issuance pipeline
- Pilot mode only (re-issue to same path)
- Perfect for "kicking the tires" before committing to a pilot
Pilot Tiers
Pilot and Pilot Pro tiers are designed for organizations running structured pilot programs:
- Expanded credential limits
- Access to pilot features
- Pilot Pro adds higher limits and additional capabilities
Production Tier
The production tier is for live deployment:
- Production-grade credential limits
- Access to both pilot and production modes
- Full feature set
Upgrading
To upgrade your organization's tier, contact the DPP Kit team. Tier changes take effect immediately and expand your available credential limits.
